FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
 HOW DOES A CONSULTATION WITH YOU WORK?
I have two different options: IN PERSON and PHONE CONSULTATION.
IN PERSON: I go to people's homes or barns that live in Ojai & Santa Barbara, California or clients and their pets may travel to meet me at my Ojai office.
PHONE CONSULTATION: I have clientele that I speak to all over the world. All you have to do is fill out an ORDER SERVICES FORM (detailed description of your pet, upload a photo, state a few questions for your pet…) and PAY on-line or snail mail me the form and payment. I must receive your payment in order to schedule the reading. Once I receive the order form and payment, I will email or call you to set up an appointment time.

HOW LONG IS A CONSULTATION?
IN-PERSON CONSULTATIONS are booked by one-hour increments.
PHONE CONSULTATIONS can be booked by the hour or half hour increments. Sessions begin and end promptly on time. It is important for you to be conscious of the time during our session.

HOW MANY ANIMALS CAN WE TALK TO IN ONE SESSION?
HALF HOUR SESSION: One animal in the first half hour.
HOUR SESSION: In my experience an hour session can easily be used up with one animal. Two animals can feel comfortable. When we stretch it to three animals we are all feeling a little rushed, but can be used for a quick check in. Note: If you have four animals in your household, but your budget only allows you to schedule an hour, I prefer to talk to only two of your pets. I do not like leaving one of the pets in the household out. It is a bad feeling for them. It would be wise of you to explain to the other two that you may check in with them on a later date and why you are picking the animals you are choosing for the session.

CAN I SHARE A SESSION WITH A FRIEND?
You may share an In-Person hour session, though you will each be charged the half hour price. You may not share a Phone Consultation.

CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE?
Yes, my services are wonderful gift to give to a friend. I can either send you the certificate or I can mail it to the receiver of the gift. Follow the instructions on the order services page.

HOW
DO YOU TALK TO ANIMALS?
I actually hear what the animal is saying in my voice in my head. My mind transfers the animal's thoughts, emotions, and images into words. I may see pictures or have a sense of knowing. Other times, I may feel pain in my body where they are experiencing pain.

DO
YOU NEED TO BE PRESENT WITH THE ANIMAL?
No. Animal communication is done through mental telepathy. Space and distance are not an issue. All I need is the location of the animal and a detailed description of your pet. I enjoy having a photo, although it is not necessary.

THERE ANIMALS YOU CAN'T TALK TO?
Rarely, I will find a pet that is unresponsive. When I do it is because they feel their people can talk to them just fine and they don't need me to get their feelings across. Others may be a bit frightened that a human can hear their thoughts. Usually, I can coax them into opening up.

ANYONE TALK TO ANIMALS?
I believe that anyone who is close to their animal is talking to their animal all the time. I also believe that manly people pick up their animals' thoughts, feelings, and images without even realizing it. As long as you are clearly connecting your thoughts and the pictures in your mind, your animal is receiving what you are saying to them or around them. Animals never say to me, "you are the only one who talks to me". They mostly say, "you are the only one that listens to me". It is important that once you talk to your animals that you sit quietly and listen to what they are saying back. With time and practice you will be able to decipher what are your thoughts and what are the thoughts of your animals.

ARE SOME QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK?
This varies greatly. Some people ask me to talk to their animal just for fun and curiosity. Others need consultations for more serious issues. Some questions people ask are: How are you feeling? What makes you feel better? What makes you feel worse? Do you like your training? How does your tack feel? Are you ready to go to heaven? Do you need help with the transition? Would you like a companion? We are going to be moving soon, I would like to tell you the details. Why are you doing a particular behavior? What can I do to help you let it go? Are you mad at me? Are you happy? Do you like your food? The list is endless.

THEY TELL MY SECRETS? IS OUR CONSULTATION CONFIDENTIAL?
Animals are amazingly loyal. Their grasp on situations that are happening within the family are extremely conscious. They will not tell me anything that they believe may harm or disappoint you. I abide by a strict code of ethics. Whether you are a regular client or a celebrity, everything is strictly confidential.
Because I find animals' wisdom extremely valuable to our society, I may use situations or their comments in an article, column, book or interview. In that case, all names are changed as well as descriptions of pets.

I HIRE YOU TO TALK TO AN ANIMAL THAT IS NOT MINE?
There are times when people ask me to talk to an animal they have found a new home for to ask how they are doing. I cannot do this without the permission of the new owner. I must get permission from the new owner to share the response with you. You may purchase a gift reading for a purchaser, friend, or family member. However, the same rules apply.

YOU TALK TO DECEASED ANIMALS?
Yes. I find this to be of great value to people who are suffering over the death of their animal. Talking to your animal is a wonderful way to aid in closure. Once our animals have passed they meet their old friends in heaven, their suffering is gone and replaced with bliss, they are given a job, and they are able to watch over us and protect us. They can give us amazing insight. It is only us that suffer when they leave us in body.
Occasionally, an animal may be stuck and need help in transitioning into heaven. If that is so, I can help with that transition. When I say "stuck" I meaning the animals may not have crossed over. This can happen if an animal dies suddenly (hit by a car or killed by a coyote) and they don't know that their are not in their body anymore. It can also happen if their people are grieving and holding on to them so tightly that the animal feels frightened to cross over and wants to stay. They do not understand that they need to cross over and then come back to watch over their people.
I like to give the animals three days after death to transition before I do a session with them.
