PET PSYCHIC / ANIMAL
COMMUNICATION
In my experience, most emotional and behavioral problems are caused by confusion and lack of clear communication between animals and their people. During a pet psychic / animal communication session, I can help you understand and correct inappropriate behavior, respond to illness and injury quickly and accurately, improve performance, and discover your animals likes and dislikes. If you would like to help your animal to pass over, I feel it is very important to be positive that your animal is ready for the transition. Having a session with me gives both parties (animals and their people) great comfort in knowing if there are any last requests or feelings that need to be expressed.
Animals can give us wise insight into our lives. Their wisdom can help adults and children with their problems, giving us confidence, and it can also strengthen our connection to the natural world. You will be surprised at how often the animals make us laugh! Their vast consciousness continues to astonish me.
Many people tell me that I am “gifted”. It is a great blessing that I am able to make a living helping people and animals understand each other better. Working in this field, is a constant study of learning what it is that is coming directly from the animals versus what is coming from my judgments, my own past experiences, the many thoughts that whizz through my mind. Also, if I am present with the animal I have a sharp eye for reading subtle cues from their body language. I am dedicated to the integrity of my work and feel that my communications with the animals are pure, while they also are continuously evolving.
I truly feel that having a session with me will change your relationship with your animals for the better. In many ways, it is enlightening. You may cry, you may laugh, you may even question. I assure you that you will have a glimpse into their vast consciousness and emerge with a greater awareness.

DOG
TRAINING
INDIVIDUAL SESSSIONS
Sessions are either held in the animals' home or wherever your animal is having problems behaving appropriately. We can address Basic Manners / Obedience and/or more serious problems such as aggression. I suggest people work with me at least three times. Sessions are billed by the hour.
PRIVATE INTENSIVE
DOG TRAINING PROGRAMS
I work your dog two times a week for nine weeks (a total of eighteen sessions). A family member needs to be present with me one session per week. Sessions last one hour.
FOUNDATION: your dog or puppy is introduced and exposed to basic commands (sit, down, stay, free, heel, off, leave it and come). He or she will be introduced to public places and real life situations. At the end of the program, your dog should have a good understanding of commands.
REAL LIFE MANNERS: This program is continued training of the Foundation Program. Your dog will be worked and socialized with increased distractions. The goal of this program is to have your dog well mannered in public and responding to obedience commands regardless of distractions. Unwanted behavior should be stopped on command with increased proficiency.
PROBLEM BEHAVIOR: Behaviors such as aggression, uncontrolled barking, carsickness, timidity, biting, and nervousness, are addressed. Dogs are socialized in different situations and exposed to some foundation level obedience. The goal of this program is to increase dogs' confidence and to teach dogs to look towards their owners for guidance while stopping and redirecting inappropriate behavior.
If you are interested in signing up for one of the private intensive dog training programs, please fill out the application on the ORDERSERVICES page.
MY PHILOSOPHY
AND TECHNIQUES
Animals need to learn the difference between acceptable behavior and unacceptable behavior. Until they are taught that, we cannot expect them to react only with appropriate behavior. It is unfair to them. My methods of training are based on compassion and respect for our animals.
My techniques promote optimal behavior by eliminating fear and habitual response. Your animals will learn to look towards you for guidance. I will teach you how to clearly communicate with your animal through body language and voice commands. This results in a happier owner, as well as a more confident, focused, and well behaved pet.
WHY I DO NOT USE CHOKE CHAINS, PRONG COLLARS, AND LEASH CORRECTIONS:
I believe our dogs should work for us off leash. If we rely too much on their leashes and collars, they are going to expect those cues in order to listen and comply to our commands. It is important that when our animals feel threatened or frightened that they turn towards us for guidance, rather than taking care of the situation themselves by acting aggressive, barking, lunging, or fleeing. We do not want our dogs to fear a jerk on the collar when we need their full attention. I believe proper use of your voice and body language is more effective at stopping inappropriate behavior and redirecting behavior than a leash correction. I believe that leash corrections are not only harmful to the dog's self esteem, but also to the dog's body.
IF WE TRAIN WITH TREATS WILL OUR DOGS ONLY WORK WHEN TREATS ARE PRESENT?
Not if we use treats in the right way. Treats can be food, a stick, a ball, or anything that excites and motivates your dog. I use treats for several reasons. One: To gain your dog's full attention and to teach them that positive things come from listening and watching their owners. Two: As a prop to make sure the dog's handler is aware of his or her body language. Dogs are extremely visual. It is important that we are conscious of the signals we are sending our dogs. Three: As a foundation for teaching hand signals. They are used as a lure to place your dog into positions (sit, down, heel, come). Eventually treats are phased out and the dogs work for their owners' voice commands, hand signals, praise and love.
REHABILITATIVE
SERVICES
"Reiki" means universal life force. It is a hands on healing technique. I am certified at the master level. Reiki does not interfere with traditional medical treatment. it speeds up the healing process while providing a source of restorative energy.
The body can store injury, illness, and trauma within itself, creating pain and energy blocks. This can cause poor attitude, poor performance, and poor health. Using Reiki, TTouch, and other forms of bodywork, I can locate and address these areas helping to free the body of discomfort.
BODY WORK CAN HELP WITH:
Arthritis, dysplasia, chronic lameness, laminitis, colic, allergies, reducing/preventing swelling around wounds, increasing circulation, reducing spasms, ridding the body of toxins during illness, speeding up the recovery of severe injury, improving performance and awareness of body, reducing stress and making an animal easier to handle.
When pain and discomfort are alleviated from the body, the animal will gain a new level of awareness, resulting in a more focused, responsive, and healthy animal.
Bodywork can be a great comfort in the time of suffering and death. It is hard to watch your beloved animal suffer. As my dog Lala died, I was aware of how calm she was. With bodywork, I was able to comfort her and alleviate her pain, making it easier to leave me.
Sessions are 45-60 minutes long, depending on the animal. Weekly appointments are available. I work on all animals (horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, iguanas, birds...) I am also available to teach you forms of bodywork. This will not only help to heal your animal, but also strengthen the bond between you.
